There have always been people who have made new years resolutions and others who have maintained focus on a goal that has carried over to a new set of 12 months.

33/6 is the Personal Year Number for Ralph for example.
In a 33/6 Personal year Ralph can expect to deal with many family matters. Either family that he grew up with, extended family or personal relationships will require focused attention in order to deal with issues that cannot be glossed over. Thee 33 speaks to his responsibility to help other people solve their problems but, discernment is required.
